There used to be a street-roaming beggar. He owned absolutely nothing. One day he strode resolutely towards the palace, meaning to beg from the king himself. He reached the palatial grounds, only to find out that the king was at the city temple. Alright, he thought, let's go there, he won't be able to refuse me in front of God. He reached the temple, meaning to fall to the king's feet. But he stopped. He heard the king's prayers. The king was asking for wealth, fame and fortune.

The beggar left the temple, for he reasoned, what could a beggar ask for from another beggar?

Ek bhikhari se doosri bhikhari kya maange?

This individual has had too many lemons handed to her by life. She could've made lemonade, but she's out of sugar. She sought it at the wrong place. Whoops.

But she knows where to look now.

She'll survive.

And she'll succeed.

On another note, I'm not quite sure why the world's buzzing at Obama's Nobel Peace Prize. He has single-handedly unified an entire nation - ironically the very nation that once lambasted 'coloured' individuals - into believing in the possibility of a better world.
